About the author
Elvis Richardson is an artist, curator and lecturer in Visual Art and Design at the Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. Her research interests include feminism and the social status and role of the artist. Richardson is editor of CoUNTess, which has established itself as a project of ongoing importance with its focus on gender representation statistics in the Australian art world and providing commentary on these issues.
